As electric vehicles continue to gain in popularity, cities are working hard to keep up with the demand for charging stations. San Francisco, in particular, has been a leader in supporting the EV movement, with the installation of dozens of charging stations throughout the city. In 2009, the city installed three standardized chargers in front of City Hall as part of the Green Vehicle Showcase. And today, there are over 600 public EV charging stations within San Francisco limits. This is just one example of how the city is working to encourage the use of EVs. Charging an EV away from home in San Francisco is easy and convenient!
